Five stops from "everything runs through me" to freedom

The route follows Carol's Genius Wheel (A.B.C.D.E.). Each stop is built on her 2018 Duplication Package, and at each one AI does the heavy lifting while Carol makes the calls.

Assessment (the Snapshot)

Stop A · Weeks 1–2 (typical)

Where the owner is: Everything runs through me

On the Genius Wheel
Completing the questionnaire is the first step and the most important one as it allows you to focus and identify the key components of your business and where you are at a holistic level. The questionnaire will allow you to get a sense of where you are and will elicit the projection of where you want to be in your life and in your business.
What happens
Owner questionnaire and desk audits with each staff member.
What AI builds
Transcribes and summarizes interviews; drafts the findings report.
From the 2018 Duplication Package
Individual desk audit with the owner and each staff member, plus a findings report.
Genius Triad
You are informed at this stop.

Brainstorming (the Map)

Stop B · Week 2 (typical)

Where the owner is: I can see what's broken

On the Genius Wheel
Brainstorming the findings from the overview is the second step and it involves reviewing all the information that has been gathered from the assessment and working together with the client to determine next steps.
What happens
Review the findings together; agree on the destination and route in writing.
What AI builds
A priority map and a written scope.
From the 2018 Duplication Package
Priorities: what's working, what isn't, which roles are missing.

Customization (the Build)

Stop C · Weeks 3–6 (typical)

Where the owner is: The work is written down

On the Genius Wheel
Customization is the third step and it involves creating roles, positions, tasks, and checklists specific to the client's business operations. This step is very crucial to duplicating the business owner so that they can move from working "in" their business to "on" their business.
What happens
Roles, tasks and checklists built for this business.
What AI builds
Position descriptions, checklists, code of conduct, staff and manager manuals.
From the 2018 Duplication Package
Position descriptions, step-by-step task checklists, code of conduct, procedural manuals (staff and managers).

Develop (the Engine)

Stop D · Weeks 5–8 (typical)

Where the owner is: The systems run themselves

On the Genius Wheel
Developing the hiring and recruitment package and training flowchart is the fourth step. This step ensures that the right talent is hired to perform the job(s) and that there is a plan and timeframe in place to train the new employee and specifically identify what needs to be covered during the training period.
What happens
The five systems are built and tested.
What AI builds
AI workflows, delivery system, website, content dashboard, CRM.
From the 2018 Duplication Package
The hiring package and training plan: job ads, screening criteria, interview questions, panel interviews, reference checks, offer letters, training flowcharts.

Execution (Freedom)

Stop E · Weeks 8–12 (typical)

Where the owner is: I work on the business, not in it

On the Genius Wheel
Put everything into practice: staff and managers trained, systems switched on, and the owner steps back from daily operations.
What happens
Staff trained, systems live, owner steps back.
What AI builds
Training material, onboarding flows, a monthly health report.
From the 2018 Duplication Package
All staff following the new systems and procedures.

The Genius Triad (I.C.E.)

Informed, Connected, Engaged. The Triad is the client experience on the road: all three need to be there, or there is a disconnect. If one piece is missing, the system doesn't stick.

  • Informed

    Through the assessment (stop A).

  • Connected

Through brainstorming and customization (stops B · C).

  • Engaged

Through develop and execution (stops D · E).

The Genius Triad: three overlapping circles, Informed, Connected and Engaged. Informed and Engaged without Connected is displacency; Informed and Connected without Engaged is desirelessness; Connected and Engaged without Informed is delusional. Where all three meet: Genius in You.
Where all three meet: Genius in You!

When one piece is missing

  • Displacency

Informed and Engaged, but not connected.

  • Desirelessness

Informed and Connected, but not engaged.

  • Delusional

Connected and Engaged, but not informed.
